Override Locked Trucks and Dates in Scheduler

In this video, we've introduced a new permission in user settings that allows you to edit locked delivery and service schedules. This includes assigning new trucks, changing schedule dates, or swapping out technicians. To access this feature, go to the Users menu, search for the user, and click the Permissions button. Make sure to check off Create and Edit under Delivery Scheduler and Service Scheduler.

Editing Locked Service or Delivery Schedules

Objective

This SOP outlines the steps to grant permissions for editing locked service or delivery schedules in the user settings.

Key Steps

1. Access User Settings 0:00

  • Navigate to the menu and select Users.

  • Use the search box to enter the name of the user you want to edit.

2. Open Permissions 0:17

  • After selecting the user, click on Permissions.

  • For quicker access, type Scheduler in the search field.

3. Grant Scheduler Permissions 0:38

  • Check the boxes for Create and Edit under the following categories:

    • Delivery Scheduler

    • Service Scheduler

    • Schedule

4. Save Changes 0:47

  • After checking the necessary permissions, click Save to apply the changes.

Cautionary Notes

  • Ensure that only authorized personnel are granted editing permissions to maintain the integrity of the scheduling system.

  • Double-check the user’s name before making changes to avoid errors.

  • Use the search function effectively by typing keywords to quickly locate users and permissions.

  • Regularly review user permissions to ensure they are up-to-date and relevant.
