Key Steps
Download the PocketScan App
Ensure the PocketScan app is installed on your mobile device.
Access the Work Order Feature
Open the PocketScan app.
Navigate to the "Work Orders" section.
Enter Work Order Number
Tap on the area to input the work order number.
You can either scan the barcode on the paperwork or type the work order number manually.
Press "Done" after entering the number.
Check-In
Once the work order is displayed, click on the customer's name.
Select the "Check-In" option to log your arrival.
Add Assets or Work Performed
Click on the option to either add an asset or log the work performed.
To add an asset:
Select "Asset."
Capture a photo of the work or have the customer sign off on the work order.
Click "Use Photo" to attach the image or input the signature.
To log work performed:
Click "Add," type in the details of the work done (e.g., "Measured space for washer"), and hit "Save."
Check-Out
After completing the work, click on the customer's name again.
Select the "Check-Out" option to log your departure.
Review and Complete Work Order
Refresh the work order to confirm that all notes, assets, and signatures have been properly attached.
Click on "View Assets" to verify attached photos and signatures.
Once confirmed, return to the store and select "Complete" to close out the work order.
