SOP: Creating a Work Order using the Quick Action Button
Objective
To efficiently create a work order for scheduling tasks that need to be completed, such as inspections, installations, or repairs.
Key Steps
Click on the "Link to Work Order" quick action button on the sales order or quote.
Choose to add to an existing work order or create a new work order.
Fill in the desired completion date for the job.
Select whether the task should be on the delivery scheduler or service scheduler based on the nature of the job.
Specify the truck for scheduling purposes.
Enter details of the task that needs to be done.
Save the work order to attach it to the relevant items on the sales order or quote.

Ensure to select the correct scheduler (delivery or service) based on who will be performing the task.
Double-check the details entered, such as the completion date and truck assignment, to avoid scheduling errors.
