Managing Work Orders

Once work is underway on a work order, the work being performed needs to be added to the work order, and the work order status needs to be changed. This notifies as to the progress of the work order toward completion.

  1. Click Menu at the top of the screen

2. Click Point of Sale to expand the menu

3. Click Work Order

4. Click the View Work Order icon (eyeball) attached to the work order under the Action column

5. Change the status to In-Progress, using the Status drop down

6. Click +Add under Work Performed

7. Click the Trip Date field and use the calendar to select the trip date

8. Add what work was performed in the Work Done field

9. Click Save

Completing a Work Order:

  • Once work has been completed on the work order, click the Complete button

  • Use the Trip Date calendar to select the date the work was completed

  • Enter what work was completed in the Work Done field

  • Click Complete Work Order

  • Once the work order is complete, the Work Order Status will change to Completed and COMPLETED will display across the work order

  • The completed work order will now be found under the Complete status on the Work Order Report
