There are many reasons you may want to attach a photo, video or audio recording to a quote, sales order or service request. Maybe the product was damaged during shipping and want to document it. Maybe you want to take a picture of an area being remodeled and attach it to a quote. Whatever the reason, it is easy to attach an asset with the click of a few buttons.
Open and log into the PocketScan app
2. Select Quote, Order or Service Request depending on what the asset will be associated with
3. Click the order or quote field
4. Use the scan box to scan a the product barcode (if available) or click the keyboard icon to enter the order, service order or quote number. Click Done once entered
5. Click the customer name
6. Select Check In
7. Click the customer name. Click Add Asset
8. Click the Camera button
NOTE: To add audio, click the Audio button. Press Record
Select camera to take a picture or select a picture from the gallery
To upload the picture or video, click Done
To view the picture, video or audio, click View Assets at the bottom of the quote, sales order or service request
