Linking Tickets and Line Items to a Work Order

An order, quote, service request or line item can be added directly to the work order to reference before work is completed.

Linking Orders, Quotes and Service Requests from a Work Order:

  • From a saved work order, click the Linked Tickets field to link a quote, order or service request

  • Click the Order, Quote or Service Request button

  • Select the order, quote or service request associated with the work order

  • Click Save

Linking Line Items to a Work Order:

  • From an existing quote or sales order, under the Action column, click the Link to Work Order icon (chain) attached to the line item

  • Use filters (Date Field, Date Range, Assignee, Created By, Linked Status, Scheduled Status, Work Order Status, Search Field) to locate the work order being linked

  • Click to select the work order

  • Once the line item is linked, a success message will appear at the bottom of the screen

  • Linked lines can be found on the work order towards the bottom of the screen
