Informing customers accurately about when they can expect their item is crucial for customer satisfaction. Being able to view when a purchase order will arrive at the store versus when the product is expected, allows for clear communication regarding delivery timelines and helps manage inventory expectations.
Click Menu at the top of the screen
2. Click Purchase Orders to expand the menu
3. Click PO Report
4. Click the View icon (eyeball) under the Action column to view the purchase order
5. The customer delivery date can viewed under the Order # column
Revising Customer Delivery Date
A customer delivery date may need to be revised if an item on a purchase order will not arrive in time for the original delivery date. To revise a delivery date from the purchase order:
Click the order link to access the sales order
Revise the Est. Delivery date
Click Save Order
NOTE: If email delivery change status permissions are set in Purchase Order Settings, a buyer will receive an email if a salesperson changes a delivery date on a line item attached to a purchase order.
