Track Customer Traffic using Gatekeeper

Updated over 3 weeks ago

SCENARIO - Your marketing company tells us that they can see X amount of people coming to our front door. How do we know they came into the store?

Track the Amount of Door Swings

While the marketing company can estimate the number of people coming to the store, Gatekeeper tracks actual door swings —the "swing" of the door when a customer comes in.

To view door swings:

  1. Click the menu icon at the top of the screen

2. Expand the Gatekeeper menu

3. Select Reports

4. Click the Traffic tab

Track Actual Customer Interactions (Ups)

Gatekeeper tracks actual customer interactions (ups)—the number of customers who are seen and engaged by salespeople. This allows you to compare the marketing company’s data with Gatekeeper’s actual ups numbers.

To view number of Ups:

  1. Click the menu icon at the top of the screen

2. Expand the Gatekeeper menu

3. Select Reports

4. From the Scoreboard tab, select the store location from the Location drop down

5. Click the Date Range field and select a date range using the menu or calendar. Click Apply

6. View Number of Ups to compare your marketing company’s metrics with your own.
