By using the minimum deposit function, you can prevent a delivery date from being scheduled without a minimum deposit percentage being reached.
Click Menu at the top of the screen
2. Click Point of Sale. Click Settings
3. Click the General tab
4. Check the Force Min Deposit box
5. Enter a percentage to be deposited in the Min Deposit % field
6. To limit accounts receivable customers from delivery without a deposit, enter a percentage in the AR Customer Min Deposit% field
7. Click the Save General button
8. When a minimum deposit is not given, the minimum deposit information will highlighted yellow and “On Date” will not be given as a choice to schedule the delivery
Once a minimum deposit is given, the minimum deposit information will be highlighted green and “On Date” will be available to schedule a delivery
