Point of sale general settings effect how information is displayed / collected on your quotes and orders. This can be initially set up and updated at a later date if needed.
Click the Menu icon
2. Expand Point of Sale
3. Click Settings
4. Click the General tab
Note: Checked items are set as a default and will be automatically included when creating quotes and orders.
Show Suggested Price - Displays suggested price on quotes and orders.
Show Related Items - When selecting a product, the system displays related items to provide possible purchase options.
Show ADC Recommended Items - When selecting a product, the system displays related items recommended by ADC to provide possible purchase options.
Note: Only ADC members will have access to ADC Recommended Items
Require Customer Type - Requires a customer type (ex: residential) be selected when creating a quote or order.
Require Customer Email - Requires a customer email be entered when creating a quote or order.
Set Technician as Default Salesperson - Used during service calls when a commission will be provided to a technician.
Minimum Deposit % - Minimum deposit percentage requested from the seller when a customer make a purchase.
AR Customer Min Deposit % - Minimum deposit percentage requested from the seller when a customer has an accounts receivable account.
Default Estimated Delivery - Delivery dates on an order will default to either as soon as possible or an unspecified future date.
Quote Expiration Period - Quotes will expire after a given amount of time
Auto Set Invoice Date to Delivery Date - Auto sets an order to be invoiced the same day as product delivery. This is important when closing tickets out the day after physical delivery.
Sales Logo - Allows you to upload a company logo to be included on orders, quotes and other documents.
Note: Sales logos need to be in .jpeg, .jpg or .png formats and require a recommended 320x180 size or 16:9 aspect ratio.
Choose Nexus Locations You Support - Sets up the ability to collect sales tax in a specific state. If a state is not selected, then sales tax will not be calculated for products shipping to that state.
Override Tax - Provides the ability to override tax rates for greater control over the taxes that you charge for a product.
Miscellaneous Tax - Provides the ability to collect taxes outside of sales tax (ex: white goods tax).
