Setting Up Discount Columns
Accessing the RPS Screen
Navigate to the RPS screen to see existing specialty columns for discounts.
Requirements
Must be a manager or have permission to set up discount columns.
Navigating to Site Settings
Go to site settings.
Select "Price Levels" to access the area for setting up special columns.
Creating a New Specialty Column
Click on "Add Price Level."
Name the new column (e.g., "January test").
Set the price type to UMRP.
Choose to change the price by percentage.
Input the desired percentage discount (e.g., 17%).
Check the box to confirm the setup.
Hit the blue "Save" button.
Returning to the RPS Window
Click the logo to return to the RPS screen.
Locate the new column at the end of the grid.
Move the column to the desired position in the grid.
Testing the New Column
Example: Add a Gen Air product (e.g., built-in refrigeration) to see the 17% discount applied.
Removing a Specialty Column
Option 1: Customize Grid
Go to the customized grid area.
Check the box next to the column to eliminate it.
Option 2: Delete from Site Settings
Return to site settings and select "Price Levels."
Find the column to delete and click the trash can icon.
Remember to hit the "Save" button after deletion.
