Standard Operating Procedure for Setting Up Full Cart on E-commerce Website

Objective

This SOP outlines the steps required to configure and enable a full cart on the e-commerce website, ensuring all necessary settings are correctly applied for optimal functionality.

Key Steps

  1. Ensure Home Source Pay is Active 0:12

  • Confirm that Home Source Pay is set up to process credit card transactions.

  • Without Home Source Pay, the full cart will not function.

2. Access E-commerce Settings 0:27

  • Navigate to the e-commerce section of the website.

  • Go to the settings tab to configure the full cart options.

3. Configure Recommended Items 0:38

  • Click on the 'Recommended Items' tab.

  • To add an item, click 'Add Recommended Miscellaneous Item'.

  • Select the item (e.g., dryer vent) from the miscellaneous items list.

  • Specify the product group (e.g., appliances) and category (e.g., dryer).

  • Optionally select a manufacturer and type.

  • Mark as a required item if necessary.
