Objective:

To set up shipping cost settings in the e-commerce section of HomeSource to provide accurate shipping and installation options for customers.

Key Steps:

  1. Access Settings:

    • Navigate to the menu.

    • Select e-commerce.

    • Click on settings.

    • Go to the Shipping and Installation tab.

  2. Set Up Pickup Locations:

    • Decide whether to allow customer pickups (yes/no).

    • Add pickup locations if yes.

    • Customers can choose their preferred pickup location.

  3. Offer Free Delivery:

    • Choose to offer free delivery (yes/no).

    • Specify starting location and distance for free delivery.

    • Set a price threshold for triggering free delivery based on purchase amount.

  4. Shipping Method Selection:

    • Decide if shipping method selection should pop up during the sale (yes/no).

  5. Standard Delivery and Installation:

    • Choose between a standard delivery fee for all items or individual pricing.

    • Set delivery fee threshold and type (per piece or total).

    • Add individual delivery lines if needed.

  6. In-Home Delivery:

    • Decide on offering in-home delivery (yes/no).

    • Set a generic delivery fee or add individual lines for different items.

  7. Installation Charges:

    • Choose to charge installation per product or a total fee.

    • Set a standard installation fee or add individual lines for different installations.

  8. Additional Installation Options:

    • Offer free curbside installation or in-home installation with additional charges.

    • Specify fees for in-home installation or break down costs for miscellaneous items.

  9. Save Changes:

    • After making all adjustments, click on the blue "Save Shipping" button to save changes.
