Using the Full Cart Feature on your Website

Objective:

To successfully set up and use the cart feature on the website to facilitate online sales and streamline the ordering process.

Key Steps:

  1. Ensure that merchandise is available, services are turned on, and you have signed up and worked with the Home Source team to set everything up.

  2. Sign up for Home Source Pay, the integrated credit card system, to enable credit card payments on the website and direct payment to a sales order.

  3. Select items on the website and add them to the cart, including any additional options like extended warranty.

  4. Proceed to checkout, review the cart contents, and enter customer information, including email address, address, and credit card details (for demo purposes only).

  5. Agree to the terms and conditions by checking the box before proceeding to review the order.

  6. Review the order details, confirm address and payment information, and click on "Place Order" to finalize the purchase.

  7. After placing the order, manage online orders easily by navigating to the menu, selecting E-Commerce, then Online Orders to view all orders.

  8. Click on the order, review the details, and make any necessary adjustments, such as adding extra charges.

  9. Use Home Source Pay to send additional charges to the customer for payment, ensuring a seamless transaction process.

Cautionary Notes:

  • Never use real credit card information for demo purposes; only use test data.

  • Ensure that all necessary information is entered accurately to avoid errors in the order process.

  • Double-check the terms and conditions to ensure compliance before proceeding with the order.
