Creating Price Rules for MAP and PromoMap using Custom Pricing Levels

Objective

The objective of this SOP is to guide team members on how to create price rules for MAP and PromoMap pricing using the Bulk Price Change feature in the system.

Key Steps

  1. Access the menu and navigate to Price Tags.

  2. Select E-Commerce and then choose Bulk Price Change.

  3. Create a new price role by clicking on the Create button.

  4. Create multiple price levels, starting with Map, then Promo Map, and finally a percentage off of MSRP.

  5. Name the price role (e.g., Map/PMAP Pricing) and provide a description.

  6. Save and apply the new price rule to all items or specific filters as needed.

  7. Review and confirm the application of the price rule to the desired items.

Cautionary Notes

  • Ensure that all necessary price levels are created to cover different scenarios.

  • Be cautious when overruling existing rules, as it may impact pricing accuracy.
