How to Pay Sales Tax

Access the Tax Report:
Click on the menu icon, then navigate to Point-of-Sale > Reports > Sales Tax tab.
Select Tax Area and Time Range:
Click on Advanced Filters to select the state or any specific area for tax payment.
Choose the time range for the taxes to be paid (e.g., month to date, year to date).
Select Taxes to be Invoiced:
Review the list of taxes paid and unpaid.
Click on "Add to Invoice" to select individual taxes or choose "Select All".
Confirm the selection to create an invoice.
Enter Invoice Information:
Fill in the necessary details such as date, reference number, and AP trade account.
Select GL account, input tax amount, and save the invoice.
Pay the Invoice in Accounts Payable:
Navigate to Accounts Payable by clicking on the menu icon > Accounts Payable > Invoices.
Select the vendor (tax authority) and locate the invoice for tax payment.
Click on the payment icon, choose a payment method (e.g., cash), enter payment details, and save the payment.
