New "Is This You" Customer Creation Feature

In this video, we’re excited to introduce the new "Is This You" button that streamlines adding new customers from conversations. This feature allows you to create a new customer directly from a phone number that isn’t currently associated with an existing customer. We walk you through the steps to use this function, including selecting the right conversation and accessing the icon.

Creating a New Customer Using the 'Is This You' Function

Key Steps

Step 1: Select the Conversation 0:09

  • Identify the conversation that contains a phone number not linked to a current customer.

  • Click on the conversation to open it.

Step 2: Access the Options Menu 0:18

  • At the bottom of the conversation window, click on the three dots icon.

  • This will display a menu with various options.

Step 3: Click on 'Is This You' Icon 0:18

  • Locate the 'Is This You' icon from the menu that appears.

  • Click on this icon to proceed.

Step 4: Add Customer Information 0:37

  • You will be directed to a new page where you can add customer details.

  • Click on the 'Plus Customer' button to start entering information.

  • Fill in the customer's full name and verify that their phone number is already included.

Cautionary Notes

  • Ensure that the phone number is not already associated with an existing customer to avoid duplicates.

  • Double-check the customer's name for accuracy before saving.
