Items can be manually marked as Obsolete. Items will be marked obsolete by HomeSource when the manufacturer says they are obsolete, but they will still always show in your search results as long as you have inventory except on the main grid. When a salesperson goes to sell something or look in model inventory the item will be highlighted in red, but as long as there is stock, they will be shown.

2. Select the Inventory menu option
3. Select the Model Inventory menu option
4. Search for the Model to be made obsolete
5. Expand the Model information
Alert! The next step will not give you a pop-up to confirm your selection
6. Click the Obsolete button on the Model
7. The Model will show in red when it is Obsolete
Tip! The following steps are how to unmark a Model as Obsolete
8. Click the Edit button on the Model
9. Click the Calendar icon to clear the date on the Model
10. Click the Save button on the Model
