Understanding the Model Inventory Screen

  1. Accessing the Model Inventory Screen

    • Go to Menu

    • Select Inventory

    • Choose Model Inventory

  2. Reviewing the Expanded Information

    • Click on the expand arrow to view detailed information about a specific model number

    • Information includes pictures, category, type, descriptions, lead time, store cost, obsolescence status, changes, spiffs, tags, etc.

  3. Options Available in the Expanded Section

    • Website: View how the model appears on the website

    • Merge: Combine similar model numbers

    • Continue: Check inventory in a container

    • Note: Add specific notes to the model

    • Min-Max: Set up stock levels

    • Accounts: Assign GL accounts for sales

    • Pricing: View price sheets

    • History: Track sales history

    • PO History: Monitor purchase orders

    • Transit: Track goods transfers

    • Obsolete: Make a model obsolete

    • Edit: Modify model information

  4. Setting up Model Specific Details

    • Taxable status, exempt tax, stockable, serialized, quick cash options

    • Inventory ID vs. Serial ID: Use serial ID as a distinguisher for items without serial numbers

  5. Conclusion

    • The expanded window in the Model Inventory screen provides comprehensive details about each model number
