In this video we will show you the Leads Dashboard and how to read the information it supplies.
The Leads Dashboard provides a manager's view of all the leads in your system. It lets you filter and analyze lead data by date, salesperson, status, value, and score — and, most importantly, track your lead conversion rate.
1. Navigate to the Leads Dashboard
Go to Menu.
Select Point of Sale.
Click on Reports.
Look for Leads Dashboard among the other available dashboards.
Click Leads Dashboard to open it.
This opens a manager's overview of all the different leads currently in the system.
2. Filter Your Data
The first step in using the dashboard is deciding how you want to view your data. You can filter by:
Date Desired
Follow-up Date
Creation Date
Last Update
You can also:
Create your own custom date range.
Filter results by salesperson.
Choose whichever view best fits what you're trying to analyze.
3. Review the Dashboard Data
Once you've set your filters, the dashboard will show you:
How many leads exist for the selected view.
What those leads are worth, broken down by status.
How leads break down by status (e.g., how many are in each stage).
Lead scoring, showing how leads break down by score.
Conversion rate.
4. Understanding Conversion Rate
The conversion rate is the most important metric on this dashboard. It answers the core question behind Leads: once a customer walks in the door and has a conversation with a salesperson, does that lead ever actually convert to a quote or a sale?
If your conversion rate is on the lower side, it may be an opportunity to talk with your salespeople and retrain them on how to use Leads more effectively.
If your conversion rate is on the higher side, it's a sign your team is doing a great job converting customers who walk through the door into quotes or orders.
5. Review Detailed Data
If you need to dig into the underlying data, all of it is available at the bottom of the dashboard. From there you can:
Review call logs.
Pull up any additional lead information you need at any time.
