Identifying Abandoned Inventory

Updated over 3 weeks ago

Abandoned inventory refers to unsold stock for which no order has been placed, necessitating either its return to the vendor or its sale. Based on the number of days since the item has been received, you can determine what action to take with the product. This is especially important for custom items, that must be returned before the return window closes or needs to be sold.

  1. Click Menu at the top of the screen

3. Click Advanced Filters

4. Check Abandoned Inventory

NOTE: Abandoned inventory represents inventory that is not allocated towards any particular orders. Not Allocated inventory represents inventory that has yet to be allocated, but will eventually be hard allocated to an order.

6. Click the Received Date column to sort by received date

NOTE: Knowing how long since the inventory was received will help you make an informed decision when it comes to returning the item to the vendor.
