Gatekeeper - Transferring an Up

It is Finally My Turn for an Up and it Turns Out to be Bob's Be-Back.

This happens all the time. You are finally next in line for an Up. The customer comes through the door, you accept the Up in Gatekeeper and the customer turns out to be a returning customer for another salesperson. Now what? You need to Transfer the Up to that salesperson in Gatekeeper.

Just like in the previous videos, you will get your notification that your up has come through the door.

Just like you have done, you will hit the accept button and this screens will now pop-up.

You go and greet the customer and you find out that they are here for another salesperson. No problem, you go back to your computer and you look for the Transfer button at the bottom of the Ups - Acceptance screen.

Once you hit the button, you will not get this screen to appear.

This screen allows you to transfer the Up to the salesperson the customer is requesting. You just start typing the salesperson's name and they should appear in the list. You also want to Add a note explaining why you are transferring this Up to another salesperson. Once you add your note, hit the Transfer button.

Warning Windows

Make sure you are confirming the salesperson you transferred the Up too, accepts the Up. If they do not, you will get these warning windows to appear.

If goes without saying, the customer needs to know what is happening and not left standing in your showroom. You still may have to help this customer.
