Ups Acceptance Screen Review

Objective:

The objective of this SOP is to guide team members on how to navigate and utilize the ups acceptance screen in the Gatekeeper system effectively.

Key Steps:

  1. Upon accepting an up in the Gatekeeper system, a screen will pop up displaying a customer snapshot.

  2. Review the customer snapshot at the top of the screen.

  3. Pause to consider the next steps after converting a customer.

  4. Click on the option to convert to a new quote or an existing customer.

  5. Alternatively, convert to a new order if applicable.

  6. Transfer the up to another salesperson if the customer belongs to them by selecting the transfer option at the bottom of the screen.

  7. If the individual walking through the door is not a customer (e.g., another staff member, representative, etc.), reject the up.

Cautionary Notes:

  • Ensure to select the correct option for converting the customer or transferring the up to another salesperson to avoid errors in data entry.

  • Carefully review the customer snapshot to make informed decisions about the next steps.
