Creating an Online Account from Customer Inquiry
Objective
This SOP outlines the steps to convert a customer account to an online account using the Point of Sale system.
Key Steps
Access Customer Inquiry 0:09
Navigate to the Point of Sale section.
Click on 'Customer Inquiry' to view the list of customers.
2. Locate the Online Account Icon 0:26
Find the icon that allows you to create an online account.
Note that the icon has been moved to a new position on the screen.
3. Create the Online Account 0:33
Click on the icon to initiate the account creation process.
Confirm by selecting 'Yes' when prompted.
Check your email for a message that will guide you to create your credentials.
Cautionary Notes
Ensure that you have the correct customer selected before proceeding.
Double-check the email address associated with the account to avoid sending the credentials to the wrong person.
