Importing Customer Data

  1. Click to expand the Menu icon

2. Expand the Point Of Sale menu

3. Click the Customer Inquiry menu option

4. Click the Excel icon

5. Click the Import button

6. Click the LINK FOR THE TEMPLATE hyperlink to download a blank template

7. Fill out the template and save it

NOTE: The required fields are:

  • Full Name

  • Address1

  • City

  • State

  • Zip - if your zip codes have leading zeros, they will be stripped off in the import.

  • Country (e.g. US)

  1. Click the Excel icon

  2. Click Choose File and locate your saved document

  3. Click the Import button

  1. After import is complete, you will see a Success message.

NOTE: When importing customers, they are not loaded as “bill to” or “ship to”. They are one big list of available customers. When you start adding quotes or orders, you will need to uncheck the “Billing” filter to see all available customers. Once a customer has been added to at least one quote or order, they will start to show under the respective Billing/Shipping filters.
