The following video discusses syncing your digital tags in RPS. We explore accessing the digital price tag screen and updating digital tags.
Digital price tags update automatically three times a day:
Around 7:00 AM
Around 12:00 PM (noon)
Around 5:00 PM
If you don't want to wait for the next automatic update — for example, after making a manual price change or running new price rules — you can manually sync your tags using one of two methods.
Method 1: Sync an Individual Tag
From the Digital Price Tag screen, locate the tag you want to update.
Click the Transmit Tag button for that individual tag.
Wait a few seconds for the system to send the update.
Look for a green success message, confirming the tag was transmitted successfully.
Method 2: Sync All Tags at Once
From the Digital Price Tag screen, click Update Digital Tags.
This takes everything currently in the grid and updates all of your digital tags at once.
When to Manually Sync
Since tags only update automatically at the three set times each day, you should manually sync your tags if you:
Make a manual price change.
Run new price rules.
Want to make sure updated prices go out immediately, rather than waiting for the next scheduled update.
Confirming the Update
After triggering a sync (individually or in bulk):
Wait a few seconds.
The tag will flash.
The new price will appear on the tag.
