The following video discusses setting up report promo periods in RPS to easily filter reports by specific date ranges without having to input start and end dates repeatedly.

Key Steps

  1. Log in to RPS and navigate to the point of sale settings section.

  2. Select "Report Promo Periods" from the menu.

  3. Click on the "Plus Report Promo Period" option to create a new promo period.

  4. Fill out the required information in the pop-up window:

    • Title: Give a descriptive title for the promo period.

    • Year: Choose the applicable year for the promo period.

    • Type: Select either "Private Sale" or "Custom Time Period."

    • Start Date: Specify the start date of the promo period.

    • End Date: Specify the end date of the promo period.

  5. Click "Save" to save the promo period.

  6. To view and filter reports by the promo period, go to the Reports section.

  7. Click on "Advance Filters" and select the promo period from the list.

  8. The reports will automatically filter based on the selected promo period.

  • Ensure that the start and end dates of the promo period are accurate to avoid filtering errors.

  • Double-check the title and type of promo period selected to ensure proper filtering.
