Setting Default Line Item Pricing

The pricing option allows you to create default pricing for line items on quotes and orders. If pricing options are not set, line item pricing will default to MSRP when it is available.

  1. Click the Menu icon

2. Click Point of Sale

3. Click Settings

4. Click the Pricing tab

5. Click the Base Pricing On drop down arrow to select what line item default pricing will be based on

Basing Pricing on Price Tags:

  • Select Price Tag from the Base Pricing On drop down

  • Select the type of price tag the price will be based on from the Match Products to Price Tag Pricing drop down

  • Select a price level condition from the If There Is No Price Tag Match, Set Pricing to a Price Level drop down. If no price tag (paper, digital or website) is selected, default pricing will be based on the selected price level percentage

Basing Pricing on Price Sheets:

  • Select Price Sheets from the Base Pricing On drop down

  • Select an uploaded price from the Select Uploaded Price drop down

  • Select a price level condition from the If There Is No Uploaded Price, Set Pricing to a Price Level drop down. If no uploaded price (sales price or list price) is selected, default pricing will be based on the selected price level percentage

Basing Pricing on Price Levels:

  • Select Price Level from the Base Pricing On drop down

  • Select a price level from the Select a Price Level drop down

6. Once pricing has been set, click the Save Pricing button in the upper right hand corner of the screen
