In the following video we discuss scheduling service requests either from the service request screen or the scheduler in order to assign technicians and set service dates accurately. The video examines ways to schedule service requests and scheduling from the scheduler.

Key Steps

  1. Scheduling from Service Request Screen:

    • Access the service request.

    • Click on the edit button to select a service date.

    • Use the scheduler to view available dates and technician schedules.

    • Assign the service request to a specific technician or leave it unassigned.

    • Save the service request with the scheduled date and technician.

  2. Scheduling from Scheduler:

    • Navigate to the scheduler and select the service tab.

    • Use the unscheduled button to view open service requests without dates.

    • Select the service request to schedule.

    • Assign a technician and set the service date.

    • Verify the scheduled service request on the calendar.

  • Ensure that team members have the necessary permissions to schedule service requests and assign technicians.

  • Double-check the technician's availability before assigning a service request to avoid conflicts.
