Scheduler Settings Configuration
Objective
The objective of this video is to guide you through the configuration of settings in the scheduler to optimize the scheduling process for deliveries.
Key Steps
Truck Tab Settings:
Check and configure the "show slots" and "show stops" checkboxes based on your business needs.
Add a new truck by clicking on the "add truck" button and fill in the truck details (name, short name, description).
Set up color coding for the truck for easy identification.
Configure slots and stops count based on the truck's capacity.
Set the origin start time, delivery stops, and working days for the truck.
Choose the start and end locations for the truck's deliveries.
Add any leave schedules for the truck if it will be unavailable for a period.
Locations Tab Settings:
Set up the starting location for the truck in the morning (e.g., showroom, warehouse).
Assign specific locations for inbound and outbound deliveries by adding warehouse doors and specifying their purposes.
Delivery Recap Tab Settings:
Configure settings for the PocketScan app to include specific information for customers, such as links to delivery assets, items not delivered, and reasons for non-delivery.
Add pre-determined statements, disclaimers, and email addresses for communication back to the store.
Cautionary Notes
Ensure accurate input of truck details, including capacity and working days.
Double-check settings before saving to avoid errors in scheduling.
Keep track of leave schedules to prevent scheduling conflicts.
Tips for Efficiency
