Quick Swapping Allocated Products in PocketScan
Confirm Settings in HomeSource User Section:
Go to Point of Sale Profile tab.
Check if Reallocate and Swap Inventory settings are enabled for the user’s permissions.
Adjust Model Inventory Settings:
Go to Inventory section and then Model Inventory.
Ensure model numbers are set up as Stockable to allow quick swapping in PocketScan.
Make Model Numbers Stockable:
Use Bulk Edit feature to change multiple model numbers to Stockable.
Select all model numbers and change status to Stockable, then hit Apply.
Note on Stockable Model Numbers:
Only Stockable model numbers can be quick swapped in PocketScan.
Non-Stockable model numbers require permission to swap and can only be done on a computer.
Utilizing QuickSwap in PocketScan:
In Delivery, scan or type the ID number to swap.
Confirm the swap and unallocate the previous product to allocate the new one.
