Buyers can be alerted via email if a purchase order’s attached sales order’s delivery date is changed. For this to occur, the buyer’s email address must be included in their RPS profile, they must be listed to receive email in Emailing Purchase Order settings and the email buyer permission needs to be selected.
NOTE: A buyer’s email address must be added to their profile to receive a delivery change status email.
Adding an Email Address to a Profile:
Click Menu at the top of the screen
Click the profile drop down in the upper right hand corner of the screen
Click My Profile
Enter the buyer’s email address in the CC Email field. Click Save
Adding a Buyer to Purchase Order Emailing Settings:
NOTE: The buyer must be entered in Emailing purchase order settings to receive the delivery change status email.
Click Menu at the top of the screen
Click Purchase Orders to expand the menu
Click Settings
Click the Emailing tab
To add a buyer, click + Email Receiving
Select the buyer from the Select User drop down
Once the buyer is selected, click Update attached to the buyer, under the Action column
Selecting Email Delivery Change Status Permission:
Check the box under “Email buyer with order estimated delivery date changes”
Click Save Email Settings
If an attached sales order delivery date is revised, the buyer will receive the following email
