How to Merge Customers

Occasionally you may find a customer has been entered twice by mistake. The best way to handle that is to merge the two the records. You will need the merge permission in order to perform this task.

  1. Click the Menu icon

  2. Expand the Point of Sale menu

  3. Select Customer Inquiry

  4. Search for the customer you want to keep

  5. Click the Merge button

6. Search for the customer you want to merge and click to select it

Note: The Merge Customer window opens with a warning that merging customers cannot be undone - if you do not want to proceed, click the No, do not merge option. Otherwise, proceed with merging the customers

7. Choose the option to merge customers

8. Once the merge is done, you will see a success confirmation message in the lower left corner of your screen
