In this video, we explain the new functionality we've implemented for inventory packages that allows pricing changes to automatically reflect on your website. It's crucial to note that the information only flows one way; changes made in the inventory package will update the website package, but not vice versa. We also walk you through how to create an inventory package tag in e-commerce.

Creating Inventory Package Tags for E-commerce

Key Steps

  1. Understand Pricing Flow 0:00

  • Recognize that pricing changes on the inventory package will reflect on the website package.

  • Changes made to the website package pricing will not affect the inventory package pricing.

2. Create Inventory Package Tag 0:34

  • Navigate to the e-commerce section in the menu.

  • Click on 'Products' to access the product management area.

3. Access Package Creation 0:42

  • In the products section, click on 'Package'.

  • Select 'Create Package Tag' to initiate the tag creation process.

4. Search for the Product 0:58

  • Use the search bar to find the specific product you want to add (e.g., 'Ashley').

  • Locate the desired product from the search results.

5. Select the Product 1:10

  • Click on 'Select' next to the product (e.g., 'Ashley RAF Shays sectional') to add it to your website.

6. Confirm Addition to Website 1:22

  • Ensure that the selected package is now added to your website.

  • Remember that any changes to the inventory package pricing will reflect on the website package.

7. Review Pricing Changes 1:31

  • Be aware that if you change the pricing on your website package, it will not affect the inventory package pricing.
