The objective of this SOP is to guide team members on how to add products or model numbers to quotes accurately and efficiently.
Key Steps
Click on the "plus add items" button at the bottom of the quote page.
Use the lookup screen to search for products by brand, category, or model number.
Select the desired product from the search results.
Review related items, such as delivery charges or matching accessories, if needed.
Click "done" to add the selected item to the quote.
Alternatively, use the "miscellaneous items" button to add non-inventoried items like hoses or delivery charges.
Utilize the "add packages" option to add predetermined product packages to the quote.
If necessary, use the "add parts" button to add service parts to the order.
For quick additions, use the "quick add" button to select model numbers directly from the store.
Cautionary Notes
Ensure that the correct product or model number is selected before adding it to the quote.
