Adding Items to a Purchase Order

Key Steps

  1. Adding Items from Purchase Order Screen:

    • Scroll down on the purchase order screen.

    • Click on "Add Item" to browse products.

    • Filter products by brand, category, part, etc.

    • Select the desired product to add to the purchase order.

    • Choose recommended items if needed.

    • Click "Next Item" to continue adding items or close the window when done.

  2. Adding Parts using V and V Part Lookup:

    • Click on "Add Parts" on the purchase order screen.

    • Use the V and V Part Lookup to search for parts.

    • Select the desired part and view parts diagrams if necessary.

    • Close the window when done.

  3. Quick Add Function:

    • Start typing the part number directly if you know what you want to order.

    • Select the desired part from the quick add options that match previous sales or inventory.

    • Add the item to the purchase order.

  4. Adding Items from RPS Grid:

    • Search for the model in the RPS grid.

    • Click on the model to view details.

    • Select "Add to Purchase Order" to add the item directly to a purchase order.

  5. Using Purchase Order Request:

    • If not permitted to add directly to a purchase order, use the Purchase Order Request option.

    • Submit a request for the item to be ordered.

    • The request will be reviewed and approved by the purchasing team.

    • Once approved, the item will be added to the purchase order.
