This SOP explains how to use the Lightning Ad feature to quickly view product price levels and pricing while adding items to a quote or order. The goal is to help team members compare pricing options efficiently without leaving the quote or order screen.
Key Steps
1. Locate the Lightning Ad feature on the quote or order screen 0:00
Open the relevant quote or order.
Find the Lightning Ad feature located next to the Add Items button.
Use this feature when you need to add products and review pricing details at the same time.
2. Open the Lightning Ad menu 0:12
Click the lightning bolt icon.
The Lightning Ad menu will open.
Use this menu to begin adding a product to the quote or order.
3. Review the available product tabs 0:25
After selecting a product, note that two tabs are available:
Info
Pricing
Use the Info tab to view the standard product details.
Use the Pricing tab to review pricing-related information.
4. Check the Price Levels tab for pricing options 0:33
Open the Price Levels tab.
Review the different price levels available for the product.
Compare each price level with its corresponding price to determine the best option.
Use this view to avoid navigating to the product detail page.
5. Select the most appropriate price level 0:51
Compare the available price levels side by side.
Choose the pricing option that best fits the quote or order.
Confirm the selected price level before finalizing the item addition.
This helps improve speed and accuracy when pricing products.
