Updated over 3 weeks ago

In the following video we discuss setting up miscellaneous settings in the site settings of RPS to ensure effective email communication, competitor visibility, and product display options.

Setting Up Miscellaneous Settings in Site Settings

Key Steps

  1. Custom Email Settings

    • Input your email address in the custom email settings.

    • Click on "Verify" to receive an email from Amazon for email address verification.

    • Upon verification, emails will be sent from your email address instead of the default RPS address.

  2. Competitor Subscription

    • Choose and subscribe to the competitors you want to see in the grid.

    • Mark off competitors that are not relevant to your business to exclude them from the grid.

  3. Show Obsolete Products

    • Decide whether to show obsolete products alongside current products by default.

    • Toggle the option based on preference, keeping in mind that it can still be adjusted using Quick Filters.

  4. Digital Ad Status URL

    • This field is filled in by the system and does not require any action from the user.

Cautionary Notes

  • Ensure that the email address provided for custom email settings is accurate and verified to enable email communication.

  • Be cautious when excluding competitors from the grid, as it may impact pricing comparisons and market analysis.

  • Exercise discretion when displaying obsolete products, considering the relevance and impact on user experience.

Tips for Efficiency

  • Verify the email address promptly to avoid any delays in email communication.

  • Regularly review and update competitor subscriptions to ensure relevant data in the grid.

  • Use the default setting for showing obsolete products initially, and adjust based on specific needs using Quick Filters.

By following these steps, team members can effectively configure miscellaneous settings in site settings for RPS, optimizing communication and data visibility for business operations.
