Creating Inventory Packages

Creating packages allows you to combine items to sell usually at a discounted rate. This is beneficial to the store and the customer. The store generates greater revenue and sells inventory, and the customer purchases their items at a lower price.

Creating a package allows you to combine multiple items into a single bundle to sell, typically at a discounted rate. Packages can be created for either a quote or an order.

1. Navigate to Packages

  1. Click the Menu icon.

  2. Click Point of Sale.

  3. Click Orders (packages can also be created for quotes).

  4. At the bottom, click Add Package.

This shows you all the packages currently available to sell.

Viewing an Existing Package

  • Click the black arrow next to a brand name to see the models included in that package.

  • Click Select if you want to add an existing package to your order.

2. Create a New Package

To build your own package instead of using an existing one:

  1. Click Create Inventory Package.

Add Package Details

  1. At the top, choose the brand (for example, Whirlpool).

  2. Enter a SKU — this can be named however you like (for example, Whirlpool Washer Dryer Combo).

  3. Enter a description (for example, Whirlpool Washer Dryer Combo).

  4. Optionally, choose a file to add an image for the package. (This step can be skipped if not needed.)

3. Add Items to the Package

  1. Click Add Item.

  2. If you know the model number, you can search directly by model number.

  3. Otherwise, use the brand and category filters to find items:

    • Filter by brand (e.g., Whirlpool) and category (e.g., Washers) to find and select the washer.

    • Repeat the process for the category Dryers to find and select the dryer.

  4. Once all items are selected, click Done.

Adding Miscellaneous Items

If needed, click Miscellaneous Items to add extras such as delivery charges. This step can be skipped if not applicable.

4. Set the Package Price

  1. Scroll to the bottom to Package Price Change.

  2. Click the dropdown to choose how the price will be calculated:

    • Percent

    • Flat Amount

    • Margin

    • Salesperson Margin

    • Default

  3. Selecting Default will add together the individual sale prices of all items to create a combined sale price.

  4. Select the checkbox to confirm your chosen pricing method.

5. Save the Package

  1. Click Save.

Your new package will now appear on your order. To view it alongside other packages, click Package — it will be listed at the bottom of the package list.
