Setting Up Intake Script Statements and Questions

Objective:

To effectively set up intake script statements and questions in the system to prompt salespersons or service persons to ask customers for specific information.

Key Steps:

  1. Navigate to Point of Sale in the menu and go to Settings.

  2. Select the Intake Script tab.

  3. Determine whether you want to set up a statement or a question.

  4. For a statement:

    • Write a sentence or thought that prompts the salesperson without requiring a response from the system.

    • Example: "Did you ask about extended warranty?"

  5. For a question:

    • Write a question that requires a response from the customer.

    • Example: "Would it be okay to text you for a follow-up?"

  6. Tie the statement or question to relevant fields in the system.

  7. Make the question required if necessary.

  8. Save the statement or question.

  9. Test the setup by starting a new quote and inputting customer information.

  10. Ensure that the statement or question prompts as intended and gathers the necessary information.
