Reservation Report Enhancements and Action Buttons Addition

We’ve upgraded the Reservation Report grid to help your team manage orders more efficiently. New row-level action buttons—Re-allocate, Unallocate, and Snooze—let users take action instantly, while a new permission ensures only authorized team members can make allocation changes. You can also bulk edit multiple records and use filters to quickly locate the orders you need.

Key Steps

  1. Accessing the Reservation Report 0:00

  • Open the Reservation Report to view orders that have been allocated but not yet closed.

  • Familiarize yourself with the enhanced grid layout for better control and efficiency.

2. Using Row-Level Action Buttons 0:13

  • Locate the new row-level action buttons on the left side of the screen.

  • Available actions include:

    • Snooze: Temporarily remove an order from the report.

    • Reallocate: Move inventory from one order to another.

    • Unallocate: Remove inventory from an order.

3. Snoozing an Order 0:34

  • To snooze an order:

    • Click on the snooze button next to the order.

    • Select the number of days to snooze the order.

    • Confirm by clicking 'Yes' to remove the order from the report.

4. Reallocating Inventory 0:50

  • To reallocate inventory:

    • Click on the reallocate button next to the order.

    • Choose the target order that requires the same item.

5. Unallocating Inventory 1:01

  • To unallocate inventory:

    • Click on the unallocate button (red) next to the order.

    • Confirm the action to remove the inventory from the order.

6. Bulk Editing Orders 1:13

  • To perform bulk actions:

    • Click the bulk edit button at the bottom of the grid.

    • Select multiple orders you wish to affect.

    • Choose the desired action (unallocate or snooze) and confirm.

Cautionary Notes

  • Ensure that you have the correct order selected before performing any actions to avoid errors.

  • Double-check the number of days when snoozing an order to ensure it aligns with your team's workflow.

Tips for Efficiency

  • Regularly review the Reservation Report to manage orders proactively.

  • Use filters at the top of the screen to narrow down selections and focus on specific orders.
