Filtering for Duplicate Models

In this video, we’re excited to share a new feature that allows you to easily view duplicates in your inventory using an advanced filter. By navigating to the Model Inventory screen and selecting the Advanced Filters option, you can check the "Has Duplicates" box to see all items with duplicates.

Viewing and Merging Duplicate Items in Inventory

Key Steps

  1. Access Inventory

    • Navigate to the inventory management system.

    • Click on the "Inventory" option in the main menu.

  2. Open Model Inventory

    • Select the "Model Inventory" option to view the inventory items.

  3. Apply Advanced Filters

    • Locate and click on the "Advanced Filters" button on the Model Inventory screen.

    • In the filters menu, check the box labeled "Has Duplicates."

  4. View Duplicate Items

    • After applying the filter, review the list of items displayed. This list will now show all items that have duplicates.

  5. Merge Duplicate Items

    • Identify the duplicate items you wish to merge.

    • Follow the merging procedure as per the inventory system guidelines (specific merging steps may vary; refer to the merging SOP if available).

Cautionary Notes

  • Always double-check the selected duplicates before merging to ensure that you are merging the correct items.

  • Ensure you have the necessary permissions to make changes to the inventory.

  • Be aware of any potential impacts on inventory reports or stock levels after merging duplicates.
